About Me
I'm a mechanical engineering student at Brigham Young University and a structures engineer for the BYU Rocketry Association's High-Power team. I have an ever growing collection of interests that I seek to get better at, many of which help me improve as an engineer.
BYU Rocketry Association
I am currently one of the structures engineers for the IREC High-Power Team. I am also the club photographer and social media manager. Skills learned through participation in this club include: composite design and manufacturing, 3D printing design and manufacturing, rocket modeling and analysis, rocket ejection testing, and working effectively with a team of engineers.
3D Printing
One of the many hobbies I have. Ever since getting a 3D printer in 2021 I have been constantly upgrading and modeling things to print.
Coursework
In my time in the Mechanical Engineering major at BYU I have especially enjoyed the classes that encourage hands-on projects. So far my favorite two classes have been CAD modeling (with SolidWorks) and Manufacturing Processes. I love seeing a project go from development to production.
Work
I currently work as an electrician assistant at BYU, specializing in fire alarm maintenance, installation, and battery backup across all BYU properties.
